Casey Lyon, MAI - Commercial Real Estate Appraiser

The company was founded by Casey Lyon, MAI, who has thirteen plus years of experience as a commercial real estate appraiser. Casey grew up in Marietta, GA where he attended Sprayberry High School and has spent a majority of his life living in metro Atlanta with stops in Athens, GA, Memphis, TN and Oxford, MS. He now lives in Lawrenceville, GA with his wife of 12 years, 7 year old daughter, 6 year old son and numerous pets. Additionally, he is actively involved in his local church and volunteers his time in mentoring programs.

Casey attended college at the University of Mississippi where he obtained a Masters Degree in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and a love for Ole Miss sports. After college, his professional career began at a national accounting firm which laid a foundation for an in depth understanding of income-producing properties and gained a skill set that would be used in his commercial real estate valuation career.

The first 12 years of his commercial appraisal career were under the tutelage of Michael Smith, MAI at Buckhead Advisory Group. From 2007 until July 2016 Casey appraised a total of 959 properties consisting of:
172 - hotels
143 - apartment complexes
138 - offices, professional and medical
105 - strip centers
