Kevin grew up in Marietta, and he has spent the majority of his life living in metro Atlanta with stops in Middlebury, IN, Southaven, MS, Oxford, MS, and Memphis, TN. He now lives in Smyrna, GA with his wife of 18 years, Dawn, 13 year old daughter, Ava, 11 year old son, Devan, and his labradoodle, Lilli. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, and he is active in his local church.

Kevin attended college at the University of Mississippi where he obtained a Bachelors (1996) and Masters Degree (1997) in Accountancy. After college, his professional career began at Price Waterhouse Coopers for two years, followed by several years in corporate accounting at the southeast headquarters of Lafarge, an international building material company. His final stop prior to beginning his valuation career was in the mortgage business for 3 years. All three of these jobs laid a solid foundation for an in depth understanding of income-producing properties, financial statement analysis and financing concepts in general, and this skill set has served him well in his commercial real estate valuation career.

Kevin began his commercial appraisal career under the tutelage of Michael Smith, MAI, at Buckhead Advisory Group in 2006, and he was recruited and hired by Crossroads Appraisal Group in February 2018. Over the last 12 plus years, Kevin has gained experience and competency all over metro Atlanta and throughout many areas of the state of Georgia across a wide range of property types, including:

Hotels; apartment complexes; offices ranging from single unit condominiums, freestanding buildings to large parks and including both medical and professional; retail shopping centers, including strip centers and grocery anchored centers; c-stores; auto repair facilities; freestanding retail buildings, including restaurants, daycare centers, fast food and net leased assets; churches; land tracts, including vacant and A&D tracts, both residential and commercial; a variety of industrials and self-storage facilities, to name a few.

Kevin currently holds a license as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser in the state of Georgia, and he has his Designation, Appraisal Institute. He is available to assist you with your valuation needs throughout metro Atlanta and across the state of Georgia.
